Laser Vein Treatment

What Is Vasculaze?

Also Known Laser Vein Treatment

If you’re bothered by how veins on your legs or face look, Vasculaze laser vein treatment in Joplin is worth considering. Using a specialized diode laser, Vasculaze targets the hemoglobin in visible spider veins and broken capillaries. The vessel heats up, collapses, and is eventually reabsorbed by the body. No needles, no injections.

As a laser-based spider vein treatment, Vasculaze works entirely from the surface of the skin. That makes it a good option for patients who want a non-invasive approach to smoother, clearer-looking skin on the face or legs.

WHAT DOES IT COST?

$150 - $300 per session

WHAT IS THE DOWNTIME?

Little to no downtime. Avoid sun exposure and tanning on treated areas for a few weeks before and after.

WILL I HAVE RESTRICTIONS?

Avoid Blood Thinners for 7-10 Days Before Treatment, If Medically Permitted

WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE?

Female or Male, Generally in Good Health, Bothered by Spider Veins or Broken Capillaries

When To Consider Vasculaze Spider Vein Treatment

If you’re bothered by how veins on your face or legs look, Vasculaze is an option to consider: • If you have spider veins, broken capillaries, or facial redness caused by visible blood vessels • If you’re looking for a non-invasive, needle-free spider vein treatment • If you want a laser vein treatment with minimal to no downtime

How Does Vasculaze Laser Vein Treatment Work?

During Joplin laser vein treatment, a specialized laser handpiece is passed over the treatment area, delivering targeted pulses of light energy. The laser targets hemoglobin, the pigment in blood, and heats the affected vein until it collapses, leaving surrounding tissue unaffected. Once treated, the vein can no longer carry blood, so the body reroutes circulation to healthier vessels nearby. Over time, the treated vein is absorbed and fades from view.

Vasculaze is not suitable for treating large varicose veins. If you’re experiencing heaviness, tiredness, or swelling in your legs, it’s important to rule out any underlying vascular issues before treatment. An ultrasound may be recommended first.

Depending on the size and number of areas being treated, a single session can take anywhere from about 15 to 45 minutes. Most patients tolerate this laser vein treatment well, describing only mild warmth or a brief snapping sensation, similar to a rubber band, during the laser passes.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS DO I NEED?

Most patients need around 2 to 4 sessions, spaced several weeks apart, to get the results they want. Some patients notice improvement after the first session, with clarity improving further as treatments progress.

DOES THE TREATMENT HURT?

Most patients describe only a mild warming or slight snapping sensation, similar to a rubber band. Anesthesia usually isn’t needed, though a topical numbing cream can be requested for patients who are more sensitive to discomfort.

IS VASCULAZE THE BEST SPIDER VEIN TREATMENT FOR ME?

Vasculaze works best on smaller, surface-level spider veins and broken capillaries. If you have larger, bulging varicose veins, your provider may recommend sclerotherapy instead, or a combination approach.
