TECHNIQUE: Pocket conversion to subpectoral implant placement with a “Lollipop” breast lift incision
47 year old female presents in regard to bilateral breast ptosis and capsular contracture in addition to postpartum deflation. She has had 4 children and notes breast sagging and deflation after breast feeding. She had a Breast Augmentation in 1998 with saline implant above muscle that was done by another surgeon. She wished to have these implants exchanged.We obtained her desired result by removing both saline implants and replacing with 385cc (L) and 415cc (R) Allergan Response silicone gel implants, and then preformed a breast lift, or mastopexy, with a pocket conversion from above the muscle (Submammary) to below the muscle (subpectoral).
